DKNV highlights and commends her focus on developing methods to simplify complex algebraic structures, making them more manageable and understandable, as well as her commitment to building bridges between different fields within mathematics. Johanne's research in homological algebra forms the foundation of her Young CAS project, "Geometric Methods in Higher Homological Algebra" (2024-26).

In addition to her research and publications, Johanne is recognised for her excellent communication skills. She previously won the award for best presentation at the "Topics in Category Theory" conference in Edinburgh in 2020.

The Royal Norwegian Society of Sciences and Letters awards two scientific prizes annually to exceptional researchers under 35 years of age within natural sciences and humanities.

The award was presented at a diploma ceremony last week.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Johanne on this notable achievement!
