MarchCOMeeting’12, Complex matter physics: materials, dynamics and patterns. Meeting organized by the CAS research project Complex Matter Science

We were 75 participants at the meeting, which was officially opened by Norway’s Ambassador to
Cuba, John P. Opdahl, and the President of the Scientific Council, University of Havana, Dr. Luis A.
Montero. Among the speakers were 11 CAS Fellows (E. Altshuler, P. Dommersnes, E. G. Flekkøy,
J. O. Fossum, G. Helgesen, T. H. Johansen, K. D. Knudsen, W. Ortiz, R. Pynn, S. Santucci, R.
